Hailey Bieber Says She and Justin Bieber Take Marriage “A Day at a Time”
Hailey Bieber is getting candid about the realities of marriage and motherhood in the public eye.
In a new interview with GQ, the 28-year-old model and Rhode founder opened up about how she and husband Justin Bieber, 31, are navigating life as new parents while balancing their high-profile careers.
“We’re just taking it a day at a time,” Hailey said. “We both feel very protective of our son, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change. Our life is public, so we’re just going to cross every bridge as we get there.”
The couple shares a 15-month-old son named Jack Blues, and Hailey says she’s “really comfortable” with the boundaries they’ve set between public and private life.
“I feel really good about how we’re sharing things — and not sharing things — about our relationship,” she explained.
Finding Balance Between Career and Motherhood
Hailey also reflected on what she’s learned as a new mom.
“There’s nothing anyone can tell you that prepares you for having a child until you experience it yourself,” she shared. “So much changes, and you evolve in ways you could never expect.”
Despite their busy schedules, Hailey says Justin is her biggest supporter — and even a fan of her Rhode skincare line.
“My husband uses Rhode and has since the beginning,” she said proudly. “He loves it, and I have a lot of male friends who are obsessed with it too.”
Grateful for Support While Raising Son Jack
Hailey has also been honest about relying on help at home. During her appearance on the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast, she said she’s “not ashamed” to have full-time support while raising her son.
“I do have help, and I’m super not ashamed to say that,” she said. “I couldn’t do what I do without it, and I’m really grateful.”
Hailey added that Jack is always surrounded by loved ones — whether with her, Justin, or his godparents.
“If he’s not with me, he’s with his dad,” she said. “He’s always with one of us, or with family.”
The couple, who married in 2018, continues to embrace life as parents and partners in the spotlight — taking every moment “a day at a time.”
