Ioan Gruffudd and Wife Bianca Welcome Baby Girl Mila Mae After Early Arrival
Ioan Gruffudd and his wife, Bianca Gruffudd (née Wallace), are officially new parents. The couple welcomed their first child together — a baby girl named Mila Mae — arriving one month ahead of schedule on Nov. 2, 2025.
The pair shared the exciting announcement in a joint Instagram post on Nov. 27. “November was a biggie… 💝,” they wrote, revealing that Bianca’s original due date was Dec. 2. “Bubba Bear and Rocky: Absolutely smitten. Daddy & Mummy: Completely and totally in love with our tiny little angel 🩷🪽 Extremely grateful this Thanksgiving 🙏.”
Friends and fellow stars flooded the post with congratulations. Actress Roma Downey commented, “Congratulations so happy for you guys,” while Emma Krokdal, wife of actor Dolph Lundgren, added a series of heart emojis.
The Fantastic Four actor, 54, and Bianca first revealed they were expecting during Father’s Day weekend in June 2025, just weeks after announcing they had tied the knot. Their pregnancy reveal featured a silhouette photo of Bianca’s baby bump with the caption, “Baby Gruffudd poppin’ out to say hello! 🤍.”
The couple also confirmed they married on April 25, sharing a sweet, film-style video with the caption, “Marriage now, wedding later 💐.”
A Relationship Timeline Marked by Joy and Legal Challenges
Gruffudd and Bianca became engaged in January 2024 after going public with their relationship in October 2021. The actor shared the news at the time with a heartfelt caption: “Thank you for making me smile again @iambiancawallace ❤️💫💙.”
Gruffudd also shares two daughters — Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11 — with ex-wife Alice Evans. The former couple, who split in 2021 after 14 years of marriage, have spent years in legal disputes involving custody, child support, and domestic-violence claims.
In early 2025, Evans requested an increase in child and spousal support, claiming financial hardship after being evicted from her Los Angeles home. Court documents filed by Gruffudd alleged Evans had intentionally stopped paying rent and taken the children on vacation to shape a misleading public narrative. Representatives for both parties did not comment at the time.
This was not the first legal clash between the pair. Over the years, both Gruffudd and Evans — as well as their daughter Ella — have filed various restraining orders related to domestic disputes, custody conflicts, and claims of harassment.
