Kate Gosselin is officially off the market — and she’s ready to share it with the world.
The 50-year-old former TLC star has confirmed her romance with Steve Neild, her longtime bodyguard, by going Instagram and TikTok official. On Saturday, Nov. 8, Gosselin shared a “10 Things I’m Obsessed With” slideshow featuring her top loves — including her kids, dogs, friends, travel, health, and, of course, her boyfriend.
Over two sweet beach photos of the pair, Gosselin wrote, “My boyfriend 😍.” The post instantly caught fans’ attention, who recognized Neild from the family’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 days.
Although she didn’t mention his last name, followers quickly noticed the resemblance to her former bodyguard, the same man she was rumored to be romantically linked with back in 2009 — a claim Gosselin had vehemently denied at the time.
According to Page Six, Neild has now been identified as the mystery man Gosselin has been dating for over a year. Fans flooded the comments with messages of support, and Gosselin even liked one fan’s post saying they were “so happy you and Steve are together.”
Since joining TikTok in July, Gosselin has hinted at her relationship multiple times. She’s mentioned spending Thanksgiving with her boyfriend while her kids are away at school and credited him for showing her “extra love” as she recovers from a recent knee surgery.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum previously said that her boyfriend is someone she has “known for a really long time.” Gosselin shares eight children with ex-husband Jon Gosselin — 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 21-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah, Collin and Leah.
Fans have been thrilled to see Gosselin looking happier than ever. When one TikTok commenter said they were glad she’d found love, she replied, “My kids always worried about me being alone when they were grown. This makes them so happy too — which makes me even happier!”
Neild even made a brief TikTok debut in September, handing Gosselin a latte from off-camera. When a fan asked if she’d do a live video with him, Gosselin laughed, saying, “He’s not very fond of this whole thing. We’ll see!”
