Katherine Schwarzenegger Celebrates Son Ford’s 1st Birthday with Sweet Photos of Chris Pratt Cuddling Their Toddler
Katherine Schwarzenegger is marking a special family milestone — her son Ford’s first birthday!
On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the 35-year-old author and TV host took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her baby boy, giving fans an intimate look at his first year.
“One!” Schwarzenegger captioned her post. “Happy 1st birthday my boy! I love you to the moon and back, my little prince 🥳.”
The adorable photos featured sweet family moments, including Chris Pratt cuddling their son Ford, the proud mom holding him close as an infant, and the one-year-old wearing a tiny crown. Other shots showed the family enjoying time outdoors, playing with blocks, and soaking in the golden sunset together.
Schwarzenegger shares Ford and daughters Lyla Maria, 5, and Eloise Christina, 3, with her husband, Chris Pratt, 46. Pratt is also dad to Jack, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, welcomed Ford in November 2024. At the time, they announced his arrival with a joint Instagram post, writing, “We are overjoyed. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful.”
A Happy, Balanced Family Life
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Schwarzenegger opened up about the joy of raising their young children and how she and Pratt work as a team.
“We do a really good job communicating,” she said. “It’s something that was really important to both of us from the beginning, and continues to be, especially as life gets busier and crazier.”
The I Just Graduated… Now What? author also shared that she and the Jurassic World star balance each other perfectly as parents.
“He has a lot of strengths that I don’t have, and I have strengths that he might not have,” Schwarzenegger explained. “We’re a great team, and we’re very present in this beautiful season of life — having young kids and getting to spend a lot of time with them. It’s such a sweet time.”
Ford’s Sisters Adore Their Baby Brother
Schwarzenegger revealed that her daughters, Lyla and Eloise, are “just obsessed” with their little brother.
“Eloise is my bath-time helper, and Lyla is always my helper for holding him,” she said with a laugh. “He’s a crawling maniac — pulling up on everything, giving me a heart attack! It’s wild how there’s something new every day, and it’s such a beautiful experience.”
