Amber and Matt Barnett Celebrate 7 Years of Marriage After Finding Love on Love Is Blind
Love Is Blind fan-favorites Amber and Matt Barnett are officially celebrating seven years of marriage — and the milestone is filled with sweetness, nostalgia and a glimpse into their life as new parents.
Amber, 33, marked the special day on Friday, Nov. 14, with a heartfelt Instagram tribute to her husband Matt, 35. The post included a throwback photo from their Love Is Blind wedding and a caption that perfectly captured their journey from reality TV to real-life family.
“Seven years ago we had absolutely no idea what we were getting into…” Amber wrote. “But the moment I met you and felt literal sparks all the way down to my toes, I knew whatever happened it was going to be good — the kind of adventure you tell stories about at holiday parties.”
Reflecting on their life now as parents, she added, “Here we are all this time later, raising a real human who I’m convinced is an actual angel. Still no idea what we’ve gotten ourselves into — but damn it feels good to be right. I may not have known what it would be, but I always knew it would be you.”
Amber also shared a romantic quote in her post: “You were always mine, I just had to find you.”
She ended with a toast to their future: “Our life together has been such an amazing adventure that just gets better every year. Happy Anniversary my love! Cheers to 7 and 70 more.”
From Reality Romance to Parenthood
The Barnetts famously fell for each other during Season 1 of Love Is Blind, where they got engaged and married without ever seeing each other until their reveal moment. Since then, the couple has been open about their relationship highs, lows and growth.
In April, the pair welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Amber announced the happy news with a photo from the hospital moments after giving birth.
“Baby Barnett has arrived and is more perfect than anything I could’ve dreamed,” she wrote. “If you hadn’t guessed yet — Baby B is a she — and I still can’t believe the hospital let us take her home.”
She joked that her heart was “so full I can hardly function,” adding that she hopes the feeling “never goes away.”
Looking Ahead
The couple previously revealed they may have a second wedding someday — a celebration they didn’t rush into. Amber has also been candid about the emotional growth that made their engagement solid, sharing that she needed reassurance before saying “yes.”
Matt’s response sealed the deal: “I’ll do whatever you want to make you happy. I love you.”
Amber said she immediately burst into tears and agreed to marry him.
Seven years later, they’re still proving their love story is one of Love Is Blind’s biggest success stories.
