Brendan McLoughlin Honors Wife Miranda Lambert on Her 42nd Birthday: “42 Looks Good on You”
Country music superstar Miranda Lambert just turned 42 — and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, made sure to celebrate her big day with plenty of love.
On Monday, Nov. 10, McLoughlin, 34, shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to honor his wife’s birthday. The post featured a carousel of photos showing Lambert enjoying her favorite hobbies — horseback riding, fishing, and golfing — alongside the couple’s sweetest moments together.
“Happy Birthday to the most loving, talented, and caring person I’ve ever met @mirandalambert,” McLoughlin wrote. “From following your dreams of becoming a cowgirl to picking up golf and competing in the Ryder Cup, you show me every day how fearless you are. The world is a better place because of you. I love you and I hope you have an amazing birthday. 42 looks good on you! 🥳”
Lambert sweetly replied in the comments, writing, “Thanks honey, I love you.”
The couple’s love story began in 2018, when Lambert was promoting the Pistol Annies’ “Interstate Gospel” album. McLoughlin, then a New York Police Department officer, met the singer after Lambert’s bandmates introduced them during a press event. After a whirlwind three-month romance, the two married in 2019.
In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Lambert reflected on her relationship, saying, “It’s nice to have a partner who supports you, loves you, and believes in you. He loves me for me — and that’s a really cool thing to have in my life.”
This week has been especially exciting for Lambert — not only did she celebrate her birthday, but she also earned four Grammy nominations.
The Recording Academy recognized her album Postcards from Texas for Best Contemporary Country Album, and her song “A Song to Sing” featuring Chris Stapleton for Best Country Song. Lambert also earned two nominations for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “A Song to Sing” with Stapleton and “Trailblazer” with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson.
“It’s always an honor to get nominated, especially alongside friends and heroes,” Lambert wrote on Instagram while celebrating the news.
Between Grammy nods and birthday celebrations, Miranda Lambert’s 42nd year is already off to a strong start — and her husband’s heartfelt message proves that love and music remain at the heart of her success.
