Noah Schnapp Calls Millie Bobby Brown His “Best Friend for Life” at Stranger Things Final Season Premiere
Noah Schnapp is getting sentimental as Stranger Things comes to an end.
The 21-year-old actor walked the red carpet at the final season premiere of Stranger Things at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on November 6, where he opened up about his close friendship with co-star Millie Bobby Brown and the entire cast.
Schnapp, who first joined the hit Netflix series at age 11, reflected on the deep bond the cast has shared for over a decade. “It’s a show at its core about friendship, connection, and belonging,” he told PEOPLE. “It makes you proud to be different and proud to be who you are — that’s what makes it special.”
When asked about his relationship with Brown, Schnapp didn’t hesitate to share his affection.
“Of course, Millie is my best friend for life,” he said. “But they all truly are just family to me, and it shows on screen. Thank God we’re so close.”
The actor also shared heartfelt advice for his younger self, saying, “Just stay true to yourself. Don’t let anyone dim that light you have. Be present and take it all in, because before you know it, you’ll be standing on the last season carpet saying goodbye.”
Schnapp revealed that reading the script for Stranger Things Season 5 for the first time was an emotional experience. “It was unbelievable,” he recalled. “I was literally reading it in the shower, calling my mom and freaking out. I couldn’t believe how good it was.”
The final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts, starting with Volume 1 dropping on Netflix on November 26 at 8 p.m. ET. The story will reportedly feature a time jump to the fall of 1987, according to series creators the Duffer Brothers.
The fan-favorite ensemble cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke — all reuniting for one last supernatural adventure in Hawkins.
As the curtain closes on one of Netflix’s most iconic series, Schnapp’s emotional tribute proves that the Stranger Things family bond extends far beyond the Upside Down.
