Teyana Taylor recently gave fans a hilarious — and slightly NSFW — look into what it’s like working with her boyfriend, Aaron Pierre. During a Vanity Fair “Lie Detector Test” segment hosted by her All’s Fair co-star Kim Kardashian, Taylor opened up about filming her steamy “Long Time” music video alongside the Mufasa actor.
When Kardashian, 45, asked if there were any downsides to working with her significant other, Taylor, 34, didn’t hold back.
“I think the only con is that I couldn’t take him down anywhere I wanted,” she joked, laughing as Kardashian simply responded, “Mhmm.” Taylor then added, “Other than that, everything was pros and gos.”
The singer and actress first went public with Pierre in June 2025, shortly after releasing her sensual “Long Time” video, where Pierre played her on-screen love interest. The two had been romantically linked since February, after attending several high-profile events together — including the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.
Just days after the music video’s release, Taylor confirmed their romance with a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating Pierre’s birthday. Since then, the couple has made several public appearances, including their red carpet debut at the premiere of Taylor’s latest movie, One Battle After Another, on September 16.
Pierre, 31, also recently spoke about supporting Taylor, telling Men’s Health that being with her felt “so easy.”
“Being on the red carpet with Teyana was a joy,” he said. “Anything that feels right feels easy.”
Both stars have chosen to keep their relationship relatively private. During a September appearance on Sherri, Taylor shared, “I feel good, and it feels good to feel good.” When pressed about the romance on Today, she blushed and said, “I get so shy.”
Pierre echoed the sentiment, describing himself as “a very private person” and a devoted father to his son from a previous relationship. “Being a father is my greatest joy,” he told Men’s Health. “I’m fiercely protective of my son and his privacy.”
Taylor, who shares two daughters — Rue Rose, 5, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 9 — with her ex-husband Iman Shumpert, is currently starring in One Battle After Another, now in theaters. Fans can also catch her in the new Hulu series All’s Fair, premiering November 4.
